P2 Playback Question

Just purchased the HVX recently, so I'm a pretty new student to everything about it. Yesterday I shot at 720/24 and filled the card. In playback, I was able to watch each and all the clips even though all the thumbnail numbers were "red." Today, just for the heck of it, I shot all 720/24 with exception to the last 2 clips which I shot at 1080/24. Upon playback, I could only watch the 1080 clips, the last two clips I shot. The 1080 numbers were black and on all the 720/24 clips the numbers were red. Any reason why I couldn't watch ALL the clips - what am I doing wrong? Remember, I'm new at this camera, so be patient with me if the questions seem a little silly.

Another question: just curious, but can 1080 & 720 clips be dubbed to MiniDV via the camera? (If so, can they be dubbed down in Letterbox as well?) Tried this with the 720 clips but noticed it wouldn't work and then noticed the Operations Manual said that clips in red (yesterday's stuff) could not be dubbed or played??? Just watched all the red clips yesterday...

Which brings me to this general question: shouldn't all the clips be numbered in black?

Only the clips that were shot in the same mode as the camera's currently set to can be played back. So if you want to play the 720 clips, you have to go back to the camera mode and change the recording setup format to 720. Then go back to the thumbnails and play (or dub) those clips.

And no, dubbing won't letterbox, it copies 16:9 HD to 16:9 DV.
