Hey everyone.. If I shoot SQUEEZE will I be able to edit it in FCP to 4:3?
I'm shooting a wedding video (UGH!) and I love the true 16:9, not the 4:3 with the black cutters on the top and bottom.. But I want to make sure that if they don't like the TRUE 16:9 (squeezed) that they will be able to get a 4:3 out of it? As I'm typing this I'm saying "that's not possible, because you're not recording the upper and lower part of the 16:9" or am I???

Another question.. This is about audio.. If I get a shotgun mike, and a handheld wired mic, is there a mini phono input?

Thanks!

Film your project in 16:9 edit it in 16:9 and when you finish you copy/paste it in a 4:3 sequence, render and voilą, that's the fastest way.
There is no phono input.

Doesn't that keep the black top and bottom though ?

Yes you get black bars but you end up with the entire 16:9 frame. otherwise you get 4:3 frame with 2 black bars printed on so a lot of info lost due to black information.
