First I want you to know that I tried to search for my answer but couldnt find a definitive answer. It's a semi easy one.

I've laid audio on different tracks, play the segment, and when the cursor goes over the audio it soudns fine, but when the cursor is through with one block of audio and moves to the next, there is that popping sound when it moves onto the other audio clip (in between the clips).

I have searched in vein for an answer and have come up empty. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

One way to get rid of the pops is to place a short Cross Dissolve at the head of the incoming audio clip. One frame may be to long but if you set the Timeline to Audio Units you can set a very short Cross Dissolve. And sometimes one frame is to short...

I prefer to remove click and pops with Adobe Auditions Auto Click/Pop Eliminator because it is easier and takes less time. But sometimes Cross Dissolves is the way to go.

I too am having ALOT of problems with the audio popping. I didn't notice this with 1.5 as much as with the new 2.0 version. It's VERY BAD!

also sometimes you don't notice while editing but still small pops may show up when you play your finished product on dvd (especially if played on a good audio system). that happened to me a lot. i learned to use good audio system when editing.
