In the current climate, every project is either a remake, a sequel or a prequel. That's it, I'm just going to start blatantly ripping everything off from older movies. I'm not going to come up with one original idea. I should be a millionaire in about a month.

I dunno that I would call this so much a prequel. I mean I know it goes back in time, but...BSG is helmed by the ST producers, so it doesn't surprise me that they would try to leverage their success into a spin-off.

But then again, given how terrible DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise were, maybe you're right...
