Anyone made one yet? I have and took it to Best Buy and played it on the new Toshiba player.
It's time to produce in HD wherever possible. This format is going to take off.

i hope bluray takes off... not that HDdvd is bad, but Blue ray has higher capacities in the long run. imagine 200GB dvd's? thats nearly uncompressed footage......

Do you really want Sony to own a standard? Blu Ray is fine but who cares? HD DVD is more than adequate. It will improve too.
The best part is that the player is only $499 to begin with.
