Super 16mm Neg + Premiere Pro 1.5

Hey all,
I have a film I shot on Super 16mm Neg that was telecined to DVCAM. I plan on throwing a 2:35 matte on it. Should I be editing in standard or 16 x 9? Will I loose quality in standard?

Standard.

No quality loss. Its still DV whichever way you slice and dice it.

Only way 16-9 would be better in terms of quality is if the DVCAM footage was in 16:9 mode.

However if you're going to end up going out to DVD, you might want to edit in Widescreen mode so you can export to a widescreen dvd.
