Can it be installed on a mac? I looked up the system requirements, it did not mention apple at all. Just wondering, cuz I got a deal on a g5 but I dont have an NLE for it and need to purchace one.

if you get a mac w/ an intel chip, you'll be able to dual-boot, one in osx and the other in windows. so i'm sure you'll be able to install then, wouldn't you?

Yes you would. But in Windows, not OSX (for now).

G5s aren't Intel-based.

Also why would you want to ? IMO if you want to buy a mac then buy one for mac sw and then use the dual boot if you want to use some windows apps but I think it's kinda stupid to buy a mac to use windows apps when you could just get a windows machine.

PPro will NOT run on a Mac. You'll have to find a MacOS ver of Premiere 6.5.
Premiere has been WinXP ONLY since it went Pro.

Quite frankly, I made the switch from Premiere to FCP two years ago. I use both Mac and PC and everytime I try and use Premiere now I find myself stuck since the software is so different. I used Premiere a lot, but once I made the switch to FCP I just simply couldn't go back.
But then, a buddy of mine uses Vegas on his PC and LOVES it!
