Yup!

I just video'ed the whole presentation and an interview with Michael Phillips. I should be uploading those clips sometime on Monday.

I've noticed that Xpress Pro 5.5 that has been announced recently still isn't supporting 720/25. Any news at NAB?

Cool, I have been holding off on a Mojo purchase till after NAB and im glad I did. Mojo SDI looks pretty sweet!

That's pretty sweet! Is there a release date for the SDI MOJO yet? I am wondering since the company I work for is about to purchase a new Avid System.

Thanks,
John G.

That's great. Is that the same for the MAC 5.5 version or is it ready now?

5.5 is in beta test. It should be out soon.

Riiiiight. I wish Avid would just stop it already with the Mac products. I've talked to enough engineers at Avid and they don't like working with OS X, and the product shows that lack of desire.

I love the fact that I can edit on either platform. That gives me a bigger client base. Keep it up Avid.

And thanks apple for making the new intel macs dual os compatible.

Avid Xpress Pro 5.5 now supports XDCAM HD as well.

Hey DC,

Did you post that video presentation from Avid yet? I'd really be interested to see it.

Thanks,
John G.

really good news from Avid. This release probably is a counter to Apple's Final Cut Extreme. And they must be really happy that Apple didn't debut Final Cut Extreme also.

On a sidenote - the video on the avid page--a really well-shot DVX100 project. Great editing, too, but that goes without saying.
