Ok, I'll preview a rendered 24p timeline and when i have a transition to another person speaking I have a constant power fade, sometimes and by that i mean not everytime it will not fade in but instead be really low volume and pop up to normal volume in about 5 sec. I looked to see if it was some of the audio filters i was using but its so hard to figure out which it is because some audio clips do it and some don't and some times they do it. AH so confusing, this documentary if due WEDNESDAY! so any emergency help is greatly welcomed!
Thanks guys (and gals)

Does it happen if you use constant power instead of constant gain?

Does an exported version do the same thing (just try exporting to a DV AVI file or something)?

I dont think i have any constant gains in the timeline. what is the exact difference between constant gain and constant power?
and yes I burned it to dvd to preview it and it was even worse, and by worse I mean there were more drops.
NOTE: when it happens i can stop it and play the same part again right after that and it won't happen. It's only when its been playing a few seconds before the fade, or so it seems.
