RED lenses

Behind it has been announced its own product as RED/OAKLEY lenses from the Jim Jannard experience from a lenses/glass manufacturer like OAKLEY, we will have PL mount for sure. 35mm & 16mm suitable from the «world that's been created before» as Ted Schilowitz said. As well the Silicon Imaging/Cineform camcorder, will there be a c-mount too?

And about 35mm still lenses option?

i am pretty confident they will have a mount for 35mm camera lenses... depending on how they make the lens mount, it should be an easy piece to make.

I doubt there would be a c-mount. The c-mount is so close to the imaging plane and only used for 16mm and below imaging. It wouldn't work with super 35.

I'd like to know if the Oakley lenses are going to come in a variety of colors. I'd like a 28mm fire lens please :D

Thanks for the inputs, yours Jarred for the optimistic one and yours roxics for the realistic one.

But I'd like hear Jim or anyone from his brand -- regarding 35mm still lenses with F-mount or even Canon's.

BTW, the lenses will be RED, not Oakley.
