Is there a four pin battery plate for the 17" hd monitor. I've searched all over and haven't been able to find one. I would like to put an anton bauer battery on it for Nature cinematography and in the field work. I know it's big but, I would love the options.

I've got the 17" also and found a battery plate from IDX who manufacture a 4pin XLR to V Lock Mount for $160 (US). I attached the plate via the VESA Mount on the back of the monitor and replaced the XLR Plug with a right angled plug (man they are a bitch to solder) so it sits a bit more flush with the bracket.

You can purchase the component parts very easily to make what you want. I know Anton Bauer sell base plate's with the AB Mount and you can get 4pin XLRs from your local electronics store.

It's not rocket science you just have to know how to work a soldering iron.
