Hmm...

Check the website; looks like a four-day delay.

We just wanted to see if anyone was paying attention. Website opens as the doors of NAB open for exhibits...

I thought it would be the event pre-release as it happens with some manufacturers like Sony, for instance. It's helpful, it teases and it's usual when actually there are announcements to make.

i dont think thats the way RED plays.. its more like a "come to our booth to check us out " kinda thing.

I'll be waiting for a www age company despite not necessarily virtual based.

Don't worry my friend... I have a feeling the internet floodgates are going to spill open the minute the showroom floor is in session. And if not, you can believe I'll be there with camera in hand - and I'll take some pictures personally for you. :)

It's ironic... the individual with a half-dozen "must see" products at NAB will do better in terms of raw info by staying home, and using his web browser to do the "walking" for him. In a half an hour after opening bell he'll cover more material than a half day of trudging around the booths.

Still, nothing beats the personal experience of going (this is my 15th or so show since '87). My small group is out for just one quick day, on the 26th, long after the flood gates of info are released on Monday morning. This approach could be the best of both worlds, armed with knowledge from the web and still getting the "hands on" experience. Crowds are thinning out by mid-week, and your focus can be tighter. I just hope the core RED team sticks it out through the full show...

Regards,

Jim Arthurs
