non-hd hard drives can only record in SD silly......kidding. A HD (hard drive) is a HD.
I think he just meant getting a HD for HD recording purposes.

These drives are actually Second generation SATA drives (SATA II), reporting 300mbs, in a Raid configuration. ..
Im building it now for my PC system, Ill let you know how it goes. . .
