Hi there,

I feel like a moron asking stupid questions on here because of my lack of knowledge of filmmaking, but I read the posts often and have learned a lot from you guys over the last year or so. So, here goes...

I am in development of a children's show and can not decide on what camera I should use. I am on a very small, shoestring budget, and own my own, VERY OLD Betacam. Should I use it, or a DV cam? If so, which one...DVX 100 A or B, Sony VX2100, Canon, JVC??? and why? Please keep in mind my budget.

I love my Betacam, it is awesome, but I think I will need 2 or 3 cameras to pull it off, i.e. matching, etc. Any advice...thanks in advance.

Please spend sometime searching around the forums in the many different areas. Your question is not one that can be answered with a simple :

A Childrens Show ? Get Camera X !

I'd suggest spending sometime reading and viewing submitted clips form the various cameras and then come back with some more detailed questions. As it stands now, we know nothing about your goals.

We have no idea of your budget; your version of small is another persons overbudget. Make sense ?

The search function is your friend!
