No, I don't need a logo, thank you :)

Seriously, though, I could really use some help. I'm making an intro for 3-episodes documentary about the last days of World War II. And I need tons of photos of the Berlin Assault. My producer is curently looking for sources and I met up with some dudes from tv a couple of days ago, who have hi-rez scans they used on their project a while ago, but there wasn't much I could use. We sent our guy to the largest local archive, but meanwhile I'm looking basically everywhere else. Been googling like crazy and I still don't have nearly enough pics...
The idea is to recreate the city on April 30, 1945 in a 3d parallax fly-through sort of thing up to the moment the russians raised the flag over Reichstag. So I need lots and lots of high resolution photos of sodiers and the bombed streets that could be used as textures... The hi-res part turns out to be the biggest problem here.
So, maybe someone happens to have/know where to get some more pics. Very much appreciate any help and thanks in advance.

Try archive.org They have a lot of old doc footage and might have some WWII photos.

Is this part of the same project that had you inquiring about "Flash-like" animation programs?

I believe Isaac's suggestion is probably your best solution.

Sure you don't want a new logo? :cheesy: :)

Hah, I do:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG) No need to hi-jack this thread though. In actuality the reason I haven't requested a logo thus far is because I don't want to seem that I only joined the site for my own purposes. I joined to learn and offer advice where I can. Hm, I think I shall make a "requesting logo" thread if the more advanced members are cool with it.

Thanks, Isaac. Digging through it right now, but no luck so far...

Terry, I think it was surf who was looking for some Flash-like soft. And I can do without logo for a while, won't have time for personal projects until May at the very least, too damn busy with these documentaries :undecided

Kegan, not to re-hijack, but that is awesome quote, never heard it before.
