Actually. The sick truth is, a LOT of books have actually been bound in skin. There are stories of people who actually wanted their biography tomed in their own skin.

etc etc etc

Look it up sometime, its quite fascinating. But yeah its been a (not so) common practice for hundreds of years.

Yea they have some of those books in major libraries. I don't think they put them out for public display though. (cannot remember where I read that so I cannot referance it off hand...)
