I am looking into purchasing a 35mm lens adaptor and have almost 100% decided on the redrock micro but I wasnt sure which adaptor to choose. I work at a pawn shop so I put together groups of lenses depending on which adaptor I buy. Does anyone have any thoughts on the MInolta MD lenses? I found 3 lenses so far for that type of adaptor and wanted to see if I could get some feedback. Along with these there are probably 2 dozen canon FD, other Minoltas and Pentax mounts in there that have just been sitting so I can do a little inventroy of them and post it, I am sure my boss will be happy to sell any of them and Im sure since they will be cheap that users may be happy as well. The lenses I am looking at for myself are (note, I am typing everything written on the lens for the most details possible: Minolta MD Kalimar MC AUTO MACRO 1: 2.8 f=28mm No. 9073315....... Minolta MD TELE ROKKOR-X 1:2.8 f=135mm..... and lastly a Vivitar 28-210mm 1:3.5-5.6 MC MACRO Focusring Zoom. Based on the feedback I get about getting the Minolta mount for my adaptor will determine if those lenses will be part of the bunch for sale. Please offer as much feedback as you can as I plan to take pictures of all of the clean lenses and post soon hoping to supply anyone interested with some lenses. Thanks for reading .... if you got this far.

I would find at least 1-2 faster lenses, like a 1.8 or even a 1.4 for a collection. With an adapter that loses light, fast lenses are indispensible.

If you do go Minolta, I would be more than happy to see some of your Canon FD's.

I can check in the net few days but I am actually not going in to work due to a wedding I have so I may not get in there until early next week. Actually I do not know how to check the lens correctly so if you would like to give me some instructions that would be great. I can then atleast seperate the keepers from the throw aways before I make a list of what is available.
