4] How are you downconverting HD to dvd for widescreen playback?

Perhaps those more knowledgeable than I will be kind enough to tell me if they see any problem with me using 2 500 GB firewire 800 drives to store my feature...

100 minute final cut
10/1 shooting ratio= 1000 minutes
720 24p DVCPRO HD= 0.5 gb/minute
0.5 gb x 1000= 500 gb
One 500 gb drive for editing and one for back-up...

Make sense?

If so, which drives would you recommend?
