The website says it works for dvcam (xdcam) but perhaps it will work for hvx formats ?

Ah they say at the moment it only works for dvcam but I bet they have plans to add all the mxf formats.

The Sony MXF format is completely different than the everyone-else-in-the-world MXF format. So if it works for XDCAM only, that means it won't work for P2/Avid/Thomson/etc.
