I’ll probably get some flack for this, but I’d like to voice my opinion anyway.
Since this is the DIY section of the board how about we start a new section devoted to those who have created an adapter for sale and don’t wish to share their plans, so those of us who are looking to build one of our own from a “SHARED DESIGN” don’t have to sift through the mountains of adapter threads that are of little or no use to us true do-it-yourselfers.
Sorry if I offended anyone.
no offense, because it does make some sense. Just means those of us sifting through either have to be a little less lazy and actually sift lol.
Lets see what they say.

That's really a good suggestion. Even though some of those who are selling adapters did DIY, it seems that the DIY section should be just for those who are discussing and sharing ideas for DIY projects to build........not DIY projects to buy.

I've found that the search function does wonders ;)

From what I have seen, people DiY and provide plans, then a bunch of people ask if they could buy one. Some projects turn into sales starting out as just a "hey look at mine, I did it all on my own."

I can understand posting something you are selling in a DIY forum doesn’t make sense, and would could probably be best found in stuff for sale...but there is also info to be gained from researching what the sellers are offering. No one from P+S will show you how to make a DIY mini35, but still the Agus, M2, and SG35 were possible.
Not saying these are copy-cats but still you can get the basic concept from working models that are for sale. I wanted a Cobracrane from Promax but didn’t want to spend that much $$ so I went and demo'd one. Then I built it based on the same design and only spent 1/4 the cost.
Perhaps a balance- those who post items for sale in DIY
forum could provide the plans at a reduced cost, or at least show a parts list.
