I won! I get a battery and case in the next 2 weeks. Well worth doing!

That was nice but where is the info on editing support I thought was coming today?

It said I won, and then said 'you have entered the following information' and nothing was there! Anyone else have that problem?
Bit concerned about that.

I got the same thing. I just assumed it was so you could'nt apply again.

No I think it's an error, but hopefully they've received the data.
I just tried filling it in again and it came up with an error with the voucher number (which should be the registration number) so I guess once you've used the voucher number it goes into the database, and you can't use it again.

Is there anyone to contact to say that you've won and there may have been a problem? I want my free bag and battery! :)
^^
Booth. Try it again I directed the http adress directly. Look above at my original post, be sure the coockies are on. And cross " I accept the conditions" The link is ok!!

Once I had filled in the details, and pressed submit, the next page said "You've won! The bag and battery will be with you in the next 2 weeks. Thanks for registering. Of course this information needs to be verified."
Paul Llewellyn

Steve, did you get the "You've won" message with the blank form underneath?
booth
03-31-2006, 03:39 PM
xray - I didn't follow your link I did it directly through Panasonics website.
Steve - it said exactly the same with me but also said something like - "you filled in the following information", and there were just blanks were the info should have been.
I've emailed Panny just to be on the safe side.
Great...NOT in the Netherlands, we may BUY extra batteries and bags.:(

Xray,
Sorry to hear the deal does not not apply, but....
Lets's face it, you've got ; better standard of living, better social care, good cheese and lovely tall ladies (of which my girlfriend is one) so overall it all evens out really...
Jeff
Portugal doesn't have any of these and its not included...

My worry: My dealer Proactive isnt on the list at Panny's site. The leaflet says "..the name of your OFFICIAL dealer".

What a load of rubbish, CKE aren't on the official dealer list on the site.
No wonder there was a distinct lack of help from CKE with cards and stores. Why does the stockist have to be an Official dealer? I bought the camera that should be good enough. I'm an OFFICIAL owner for goodness sake.
Wish I'd have purchased everything from H Preston now.
Looks like you are an Official owner of an HVX200 with two P2 8Gb cards! Well done.

Yes and while that's good, when a company is claiming to be an official dealer and isn't that's just rubbish. No wonder they weren't getting any additional cards/p2 stores etc. The whole thing has tarnished getting my HVX200 because I now feel cheated out of something. Will never use them again.
H Preston on the other hand were fantastic, I can't recommend them enough.
Hmmmm.... Why didn't that surprise me :undecided
Enlighten me, why? We Dutch are traders with a great trading history, so why will they stimulate us not to buy with official Panasonic dealers

Booth, have you heard back from Panasonic regarding your email? I'm wondering how strict they will be with this official dealer thing. Crosses fingers, toes and... other things.

Isn't this illegal within EU?
We're supposed to have even chances within EU even with promotions...

I understand that if you sign up you have only the "chance" to "win" the case/battery. Maybe they only give one set so whu bother !!!

Yeah Finland is out too, it is not fare. Do you have nice long girls, cheese, social welfare and other nice things to offer? I wonder why we are out, market protection maybe, we better ask the Dutch EU commissioner Nelie Kroes (she is pushing Microsoft to bring out a OS version without included other MS software).

My understanding is that the first 750 registered users will be sent the goodies. Not just a chance to one.

Actually in Denmark it's illegal to make a competition where you must buy a product to compete.
Panasonic Netherlands import, marketing en distribution (exclusively Panasonic and Technics since 1964) is done by the company Haagtechno with more than 130 employees. They are a Panasonic Info-Centre too. But as I now understand, they are no part in Panasonic Europe.
But it is sad an strange that my neighbors in Belgium, Germany and England can have free tools, and we don´t while buying the same camera.

I am very curious M-Jay tell us :furious3: :furious3: :furious3:
I was talking about Haagtechno, not about Dutch people :)
I've called and mailed them several times they couldn't answer my questions and weren't enthousiastic or helping in any way. They never replied my emails, I know some other people that were asking info about the HVX to but they are not willing to help at all. It's a complete different story if you compare Haagtechno with Sony or Canon here in the Netherlands. I called Canon when the XL2 just arrived here in the Netherlands, I could borrow one from them right away! No questions asked! Special introduction days in stores...etc.
That's why it didn't surprise me that Haagtechno isn't participating with the extra goodies. Maybe you guys have a better relationship with them but not me.
No I am not M-Jay. You are right. I mailed them for the HVX and they send me NTSC info, I told them that is not right. Never heard anything in return. As we know Sony rules this country, it is everywhere, even now already 7 regional tv stations decided to go the Sony tapeless way, Hilversum ( national tv ) did the same.
They (panasonic) lost it after the MII debacle and never returned. I am advising for future TVproduction planning, but couldn't get a door open for the P2 and DVCPRO. Belgium is more successful in participating with P2 production lines for regional television. It is a pity, people like to work with Panny stuff.

This might be the reason. The "promotion" is on only in those countries that Panasonic Europe is the importer.
Panasonic Europe is just beginning to import consumer products to Finland. I'm not really sure is hvx consumer product or not?
Bingo just registered.
prestons i love you :)
