Editing HVX200 workflow

Hi there,

I have just ordered the HVX (arriving on Tuesday I am told) and was wondering what the best PC editing program is to import and cut on. I understand there is some compatability/codec issues with premiere but avid is okay. Any further developments on premiere compatability as I am a die hard After effects fan.

You can look at Raylight, but Canopus seems to be the Mac Daddy of PC editing systems right now. Check out the new Canopus forum.

Personally, I'm trying to hold off till after seeing what happens at NAB. If you think about it, a 30 day trial version of Edius would get you past NAB.......

does the raylight codec kill the quality or slow up the machine any? Thanks
