Can anyone tell me if I am heading for trouble if I use my PC on set to offload P2 cards onto an external HD (FAT 32) and then want to edit later from that HD with FCP on my mac desktop? Ideally, both systems should read the hd, but will I be unknowingly messing with the mxf files in such a way to ruin my chances with the mac...I'm trying to avoid buying a new mac laptop..

i have shot, transfered to pc (ntfs though) then coppied from ntfs drive to mac powerbook g4 and not had a problem.....
i dont see why fat32 would cause a problem.... gotta love a mac.....
