I was reading up on the BluRay spec so I knew how to prepare my current projects for the future. I went to bluraydisc.com which I beleive is the official BluRay site. Anyways it has 24, 50, and 60 listed as the supported framerates. Are they not going to support 30fps? I understand you can convert a 30P project into 60P easily, but still I was amazed when I saw this. Here is the link. Am I missing something?

Isn't a DVCPRO HD export always in a 60i wrapper?
- 1920 x 1080 HD (50i, 60i and 24p)
- 1280 x 720 HD (50p, 60p and 24p)
- 720 x 576/480 SD (50i or 60i)

Not when in 720 native mode, I don't think.

I was thinking the 1080 mode, although FCP 5.1
will be able to edit 1080 24pA.
Sent my discs and $50 bucks to Steve today.
How lame!!

Well, I sent my $200 to DVFilm for the Raylight codec, since Premiere didn't support the HVX at all. Talk about lame.
