Can't wait to check that one out.... been disappointed with their new stuff, but maybe I'm just an old fuddy duddy remembering the glory days of the late 80's early 90's... ahhhh.
Funny that they are goign with some HD stuff.. and at the same time the Beastie Boys are releasing something they shot on a cheap 8mm camera. They liked the noisy grainy tough look and thought that even DV was too clean... Should be interesting to check out that Low-def stuff...
Yep... this is the tip of the iceberg... and I think you'll see more and more bands owning the HVX.. bringing it on the road and shooting and cutting from the tour bus. Already kind of happened with Pearl Jam... and who knows who's next.

So the "making of" was shot with 2 hvx's?
Not the real music video?

I believe so, I don't know if they shot a video on it yet. It's good to see that a full making of doc is being shot on the HVX and broadcast on MTV, especially after reading the thread about Discovery requirements.

oneinfiniteloop, that's a very missleading title. The behind the scenes documentary was shot with the HVX-200, not the actual video. - Even the PD-150 could have been used for that. stupid title

Sorry about that, the behind the scenes doc is still a video, I definately didn't say music video. I was just relaying the title of the article itself.
