I never thought to try to edit from the P2 store.
I usually just pull the files to another hard drive, on the NLE.
The problem with that is it takes time.
I would just hook it up and see, but currently my P2 store is empty,
and I figure that if it has been done, one of you have already done it.
So the question:
Can you dump P2 footage, to the P2 store and just plug the USB cable to the NLE and edit directly, or is the USB going to be too slow to do this?
I am using EDIUS, so no wrappers.
Also, once the P2 store is full, can I put one last card into the P2 stores slot and edit that card as well as the other 7 on the P2 store (that is assuming you can edit directly from the P2 store via the usb cable)....
The more I think about it, they should have added a firewire connection to this P2 store.
