Offloading fromm a HDD

When you copy files from P2 to HDD in host mode, most of you know that the drive gets partitioned for each P2 card. Then when you plug the HDD into your computer you end up with a bunch of drives mounting to your desktop (one drive (partition) for each P2 card). Now the proper workflow would be to transfer the files to a separate folder (each) on a portable drive before importing to FCP. This is tedious. For example, we had a drive with 13 partitions on it. We created a folder named after our project. Within that folder, we created 13 subfolders (one for each "CONTENTS" folder and "LASTCLIP" file). Then we have to drag the contents of each partition drive to one of the subfolders. One at a time. This process took a couple of hours.
It seems to me there should be a better way. Anybody got a work around?
