HVX Meetup at NAB?

I was thinking about hosting a small meet and greet for HVX users at one of the bars at the LV Hilton. It would be within walking distance from NAB and could give folks a chance to share notes and network.

Anyone interested?

Dang you! I've got so many meetings to attend, how can I find time to hit the Craps tables and pay for my HVX???:(

Seriously, it's a great idea. The more united this community gets the more power we'll have.
I know it's too close now, but for 3 years I threw a party for hundreds of NewTek product users at NAB.
I rented a banquet room at the MGM.
We had tables for the 3rd party people, Demonstrations, speaches and guests. Dick Van Dyke was there one year and Penn and Teller was there another.

This is a great forum and group. I hope to meet some of you since I'm a newbie here, but will be here a lot I'm sure.

Sounds like a cool idea. Hopefully if all goes as I am told, my HVX will be in the week before NAB. So maybe I can get some tips from other owners while I'm there. My first chance to shoot on it will be the drive out to Vegas. Figure a good road trip will be a great way to break it in.

Anyone else got their credentials in the mail yet? I had a good chuckle when I noticed this years cards are printed to look like P2 cards.

I'm a big craps player too. Well not so big. I'm a low roller but managed to turn $20 into $160 last year at the MC :)

I definately noticed the HVX on the NAB Card. That told me a lot about Panasonics dedication to this camera.

2 years ago I walked away from the craps table with enough to pay for nearly $3,000 worth of new lighting. Maybe I'll pay for my HVX this year. Or I'll build another casino!:crybaby:

Jarred is throwing a two night bash for all DVX/HVX users you will not want to miss this will be allot bigger then just a bar get together. No offence But you guys need to come it will be allot of fun. Last year was, Well lets just say last year got a little wild
