Good Secondary camcorder for digitising

Hey Guys...great site..here...has helpd me a lot..ive learnt quite a bit..newayss...im planning to buy to camcorder for digitising dvx footage mostly...also would like to shoot with that..some montages..for recce etc etc.. can you suggest me a good mini dv cam to buy...mostly for dumping..but good enough to shoot stuff here and there.. also a dumb question coming up
mini dv tapes are diff frm the ones used to hvx right?...so id need a different cam setup to digitise hi definition...a lil confused there:costumed-smiley-047

You can't record HiDef to tape with the HVX...only to P2 cards. The only thing you can record to tape is DV. And you don't have to digitize or capture any HD footage...it's more like a file transfer.
