originally I had plans to keep my DVX and use it as second camera....but if i'm planning on shooting 720pn most if not all of the time, Im guessing It's not going to be a hell of a lot of use to me? can you combine SD footage with HD?
Keep it man, it is still a solid camera. Use it as a B-camera or crash camera or backup camera or a DV deck or to lend/rent out.

ha, the day i use my DVX as a deck!!...
thats a slap in the face! I couldnt do that its been too good to me.
But I was thinking that I could use it as a second camera if I was shooting events in SD.

Keep it. There's a lot of demand for multi-camera SD shoots. i may actually buy a DVX to compliment my HVX on SD shoots.
