This is the only reseller for high end Panasonic gear in Switzerland. They don't have any P2 Media in Stock, and they won't rent any to you if you don't take the camera from them. Suckers. So what do I do to record HD if I cannot get my hands on a Firestore FS-100 by the end of April? I won't run around with a notebook in my backpack, and I did not buy a HVX to record DV, even if the quality is really good.
Where will you buy your HVX? There are a few other resellers in Switzerland. I have one on order at Foto Video Fuchs. Renting P2 cards could really become a problem. It depends on how many HVXs are going to be sold. If the installed base is reasonable rental P2 cards will certainly become available.

I already have mine. Imported from Japan, without the 20% higher price for less features, and I have 24p...

How are you coping with neon lights?

I don't film neon lights...And you should be able to adjust to the flicker.

I only knew Schweizer. And they don't have P2 on their page...
Switzerland is not a member of the EU, that makes it harder to get easy acces to P2 I think. If you use a webshop within the EU -like Gerrmany- do you need to pay the customs?

Depends. Some times yes, sometimes not. If yes, then it is only the VAT/MWST of 7.5%.
