get clips that were split over 2 cards to marry together in FCP??? Am I just stuck cutting them together on a timeline?

This is driving me nuts...I thought with the .txt file this was supposed to automatic???

Thanks in advance.

IINM, FCP doesn't support that. You have to manually stick the two together on the timeline.

bah, that kind of blows....but there are worse things in life.

It would be nice if clips were named sequencially. Is there any reason each has some oddball random name to them?

Absolutely unacceptable...marrying them up in FCP leaves you with an audio pop at the seam.

How the hell does panasonic expect this to be in any way usable.

Are you sure? I have not found this to be true. You may have audio playback quality set to low, in which case you may hear a pop, but this is just because of playback. Export the clip and listen for the pop then. I don't think it will be there.
