Hope this hasn't been posted before (i couldn't find it).
Here's a nice article by Stu Maschwitz about the 32-bit workflow in the new after effects 7.0. Stu is from the orphanage (from magic bullet), which used to sell elin, a 32-bit conversion plug-in for AE 6.5 or lower, which you now no longer need with AE 7.0. There are some things to keep in mind though when working in 32-bit in AE, and Stu explains it very nicely...
