HDR-HC1 - PAL or NTSC?

So, although I've been hoping to get a DVX for a long time now, I'm just not able to afford it. So I've decided to go with the Sony HDR-HC1 for now. But I'm wondering if I should go with the standard NTSC model, as I'm in the US, or if I would be better off going with the HC1E (PAL) model, specifically for the 25fps, which would be much closer to the coveted 24fps. If anyone has any insight on this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Anyone? I'm thinking I might as well go with the PAL version, because I'll be using the vast majority of the video I shoot for computer only viewing. Would converting HDV PAL footage to a DVD NTSC format be much of a hassle?
