How well would the PAL HVX200 intercut with an NTSC HDC20A in 1080/60i? The final programme will be NTSC.
I realize that the PAL HVX just came out, so lets speak theoretically for now.
Is there a big difference between DVCPROHD PAL and NTSC colour-space? Any frame-rate conversion issues?
I need to shoot some preliminary research interviews for an upcoming documentary, and they'll be using the HDC for principle photography. They want to use the DVX for now and later reshoot the interviews with the HDC -- I'm wondering if it'll be better to shoot the interviews on the HVX and use that footage in the final doc. Some of these interviews will be hard to arrange, and will be a pain to organize twice. What do you think?
If they go for it, it'll give me the budget to buy the HVX. :)
