Setup menu option

Okay, I've read about the whole 0 and 7.5 setup, and I am still confused. From what I understand (which is not much), when shooting in DV mode, you should keep the setup and 0.

But what about HD?

I read the MASTER PEDESTAL ARTICAL, and I prefer the look when the setup is set to zero. The blacks look blacker.

What setting should I use in HD? I just want a simple, straightforward answer. Thanks.

it should be set to 0 for tape. Same goes with the DVX.

For the p2 setup, it depends. The 0 or 7.5 only refers to what the camera applies to the outputs of the camera and not what is recorded to the card. 0 IRE is always recorded to the card.
