Brand new Macbook, brand new HVX200 - fresh install of FCP Studio. Shot some footage in 1080/60i and 720p. Tried both mounting the P2 per the whitepaper, and have also tried just copying over the footage to my desktop and retaining all files and the lastclip.txt file in their own file and repeatedly getting the error::

"One of more P2 clips failed to import, probable incomplete or corrupted cilps. "

FCP can see the clips in the import window with their TC - everything seems fine until you click the import or import all buttons - whereupon I get the error.

Have set log bin and still no luck. Kept shooting different record settings and still getting same problem. Pulling my hair out -- any thoughts on how to resolve this?

Please help

Thanks,

Rob

Have you upgraded to FCP 5.0.4?

Also if you indeed have a MacBook Pro, FCP really isn't going to work on this system. You need to wait for the Universal Build shipping on th 30'th.

Do you have FCP 5.0.4? Also, the Universal Binary version of FCP isn't shipping yet, so I guess you're running it via Rosetta which may be not be running properly.
