Anyone have a lead of where to find a DVCPRO HD Codec for Windows?
Either directshow to support WMP/VLC or Quicktime component?
QT on OSX can play DVCPRO HD but QT Windows version can't

Let's see...if you brought it into Avid XPressPro HD and then export it as a QuickTime Reference File that should do it. This will put a QuickTime "wrapper" around it so that any application that uses QuickTime (including the QuickTime Player, which sucks on Windows BTW) can have access to it.

does anyone know if the Apple DVCPro HD codec component, which exists for QT OSX does exist for QT Windows?

re: raylight - thanks. i was hoping someone had experience with it before forking out the $190. the demo does not work as a directshow codec or even with VLC/ffdshow.

Raylight will let you remove the 2:3:3:2 pulldown from 1080 24pA clips. I do that and then use in After Effects.
