DLT for archiving

Hi,

I am thinking about buying DLT for reliable archiving HVX footage.
I dont want to use 2 hard drives for each important footage...

But i have a few questions :

What is the cost of DLT equipment and tapes ?
What is the storage capacity of a tape ?

Hi:

The DLT we just bought was about $8,000.00
The tapes are $100.00 per 300GB tape.

I'd look at an LTO or LTO2. Drives are around $1200-$1500, but tapes are only $35-$65, depending on where you get them (for 200gb)
