View Full Version : New zone alarm
Zone alarm used to work well in my world but the new trial version is a little on the overkill side. It asks me all the time if this software should be allowed to communicate with that software and this is trying to access that and on and on. I am pretty computer savvy but zone alarm is forever setting my hair on fire with stuff the old software just dealt with and most of the warnings I just don't have a forking clue what it's trying to warn me about. It is almost to the point where I get a warning box telling me the mouse cursor is trying to access the OK button to empty the recycle bin. Kiss rule here I would think. If a fruitfly landed on my monitor, Zone Alarm would have issues with it and ask me if it was allowed.
3 Minutes and no reply....OK TC highjack the prick

Sorry, I'm just having way to much fun tonight. It is supposed to give you control over what programs are allowed to access the net and which are not. And also wether or not you allow certain aspects of your system to be accessed from outside. It controls the flow of info and chatter between your machine and the universe is what I'm trying to say.
