Hello,

Does anyone know if there are adapters for the HD100 that allow 35mm (SLR) lens to be mounted directly on the HD100? I am not asking about something like the M2 micro but a way to mount the lens directly on the camera. Also would any one know the focal length equivalents between say a 28mm on a 35mm SLR camera and the equivalent focal length on the HD100 1/3" chip block?

Thanks,

Drew Harty

Hi Drew, i've been researching on it as well, you can contact
Zork film & Phototechnic, US
e mail: usa@zoerk.com or visit www.zoerk.com
They produce an adapter made for the 35 mm SLR on the jvc hd 100
I think so far nobody else

Or, if you're talking about an adaptor that will allows you to decrease the depth of field, well, a lot of meat is on fire. Check Letus 35, Cinemek (my favorite) or the well known option (but expensive) Mini 35 P+S technik.

optex made some adapter that you can hook up nikon lenses on the camera. Its even on the JVC brochure but I think optex just folded up? I'm not sure.
