my question is did I do something wrong??
also I get like a yellow spot in the middle is that a hotspot?
cause i do have a tiny crack in the 35 lense so would that be the problem??
how'd they get theirs to be like full frame?

I'm not sure... I'm still making mine... however, is your adapter using the Spinning CD method? Because it looks alot like a static adapter using a sanded focus screen of sorts. (kind of like my a35 adapter (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=42006))
I found out that using a 'condenser' lens or even a macro filger between the 35mm lens and focus screen can actually help out a bit (it enlarges the image on the focus screen, etc...)

man what happened there? What glass did you use? looks like maybe you didn't grind it fine enough...or didn't get the right glass....

its a moving gg it wasnt on that time though.
and we chucked that disc and sanded another looks better less screatches but i thought the adapter would show more of the frame that what mine shows unlike their pictures.

That hot spot is from uneven light distribution on the groundglass, a fresnel lens will help to distribute the light. The vibrator will not correct this problem, you have to distribute the light evenly onto the groundglass. That's why fresnel lenses are used on camera all reflex cameras.

It's funny cause I actually go to the DIY section, and you'd think it's easy to find information, when it's not.
I know there are a lot of good threads, like Ed's Ed35 and the My35, but for a majority, you have to sift thru about 150 msg's of "When can I get it... looks great... can I be on the waiting list..... when can I get it...."
Any rate, from Edwardo's thread, he states in the first posting how he's using a Nikon F3 Type D focus screen...
you guys think this is the best way to go? (I know the Type D is good because it doesnt have a "circular focus spot" in the middle of it).
Are there any other good screens to use?
I searched ebay and the Nikon type D's are hard to come by.
This doesn't really help the original poster of this thread, but I like the idea of static adapters becuase they are much smaller and more 'convienient' than motion ones.
