My cousin came in from DC and, interested in the video stuff he wanted to film himself and then put some effects on it and change the look.

Of course, it helps when you aren't using a stick and masking tape to secure the box, but hey, it was just for fun. Took 2 1/2 hours. Mostly going for the bleached look andsome visuals to give a "telekinetic" power. Not my finest work, but we had a good time.

Yeah it's a little cheesey, no I take that back, it is VERY cheesy but the look when he harnesses his power and the room shifts looks neat.

How'd you do the ripple effect on the box? Is it just some moving ripple layer with a blending effect placed on it? Cool stuff

I love doing little tests like this, but they always do seem to take a really long time to perfect. Cool clip though.

That is just 2 layers of masked out Fractal noise/Clouds, both animated differently, one set to overlay and one set to soft light.

heh. I told you the box was cheesy. Wait until I put sound to it. I'm gonna have the "levitation" effect made from xylophones. Then your eyes AND ears will bleed.

You need DivX 5 surf.

you dont need the DivX player, just the codec. You really should have it, there is a lot of material out there with DivX.
