The frosted CD is the one that can "hold" the image projected from your 35mm lens. The clear ones will NOT work since it will let the image pass through.

so is it possible to make it frosted somehow?
or do i have to go waste like $18 on a pack of cdrs to get a frosted cd?

also i have another question but im not sure if i cant explain to be understandable.
but here it goes.

in the guide they have the macro attched to a board which is then attached to your camera but they made it adujustable until focusable my question.

how can you adjust it when its attched to the front of your camera but the other end attached to the board. so can you just change the distance from the gg and macro since the macro is attached and non movable i hope i didnt confuse anybody.
its kinda hard to explain.

I understand your question.

Dont attach the macros to the board. Attach it to your camera.
The critical part is getting a right fous from your lens to your GG.
Make the GG and motor holder in a way that it is adjustable, meaning you can move it in small increments nearer or farther from your lens until you get a sharp focus on infinity and near settings.
