Hi all,
New G5 owner here, whats the best path to getting FCP 5 / FCS? Should I shell out for the full ($1150-$1300) suite or should I upgrade by buying a copy off ebay or something?
I dont want the academic because I wont be able to get FCP 6 when it comes out soon.

having a copy of soundtrack pro or motion 2 will enable you to get the universal full version of final cut studio for $199 for a total of $498. good luck!

This is what I did, and Apple has me in there Status Check, only waitng for them to ship it.

I just bought a production studio (4.5) off ebay - thanks guys. How long before Apple starts to rollout? End of March?

That's what they said, and lately all of there stuff has been either early or on time with new releases so it should be true.
