Any camera shake stabilization tools out there?

Ive only see it for iMovie because its a pretty crappy tool, its overcompesates and gives you a huge massive ever changing vignetting it dosnt work.

I've used iStabilize

with fairly good results on old 16mm handheld footage.

Oh -- a good tripod works well too. I heard if you tape the tape to another camera mounted on a tripod that works too.

You're like me... someone bought me Shake and I didn't open it for years! Bought the 4.0 upgrade and with FCP 5 you can port DIRECTLY to shake and back. VERY COOL!!

Yes, shake's got a GREAT node you can drop on it.

If you get it running, I'll walk you thru it.

how can someone afford to spend $5000 on Shake and not even open it up? Wow. I have a film worth investing in, if you have money just lying around.

I'll elaborate:

2003 BMW 530i - I owned it for a month before I "opened" it up on the highway

Shake - I owned it for about 6 months but have only used it to "try" to learn it.

I'm still trying to master FCP, Shake just makes me cry with fear.
