Here's a stupid question for you -
I've got some footage I captured as having "1 stereo" audio track.
I should have captured it as dual mono tracks.

Anyone know a quick way to switch stereo audio to dual mono in FCP?
I looked in the manual and didn't see anything.

I feel stupid even posting this, because I'm sure it's something easy.
I guess I've never had to do this before.

Anyhow - thanks for any help.

Select the track and try Apple-L or Shift-L or Option-L

One of them will work... the others... well -- um... you might have to reinstall.

hahaha

Try that.

You definitely need it in Dual Mono if you need to pan the sound. Capt Mench is such an Mensch...

I wish I had this clip from Veteran's Day 2001 34 degrees (I remember because they had the temp RIGHT above where I was standing!!...

NBC Today Show 0800 hour East Coast (pre-empted for the rest of the country due to a plane crash at JFK (I think it was) they went live the rest of the day and we were stuck on Manhattan with all the bridges and tunnels closed...

Katie Couric announces from inside... "And outside our studios is the USAF Band from Washington DC lead by Lieutenant Michael Mench; and I hear he is really a Mensch"

Anyone out there care to find that for me???? HEHEHEHE.
