Downladed a couple MXF files to play with.

Can't figure out how to import them.

I think I need to do something to it but haven't been able to find out what to do.

Searching has delivered no answers. (it rarely does).

Can some one point me in the direction where I can find out how to do this.

Thanks again for the help guys.

Did you download them from the camera? There's a .TXT file you NEED to be able to transcode them.

Check this out...

Not working right now, but maybe soon... I know Dave's working on the site.

Thanks cap'n, but I just downloaded the file from someone from this board. There was no TXT file with it.

Guess I'm stuck.

I do like your your pro apps site...it's great BTW.

Ya -- me and about 30 other people! It's a community site with lots of folks contributing.

Glad you like. A guy up in Toronto kind of runs it all. Dave Slater.

Apparently you don't need to have that LASTCLIP.TXT file...I just did a test and it worked.

BUT...

You do have to have the entire CONTENTS folder. You cannot import a simple .MXF file.

What did you download for import? What files do you have exactly?

In the HVX grabs area there was a thread for MXF files from a shoot at sundance.

I followed the link. There was an enormous folder and I down loaded a single clip (about 200 megs).

here. http://hvx200.moctel.com/Users/ from cr8tives folder.
