Hi guys, so I just finished a rough cut of my feature film, shot on the DVX-100a. And while the footage looks great, I'm looking to establish a slightly more stylish look for the film.

I did some tests using FCP's 3-way color correction filter that I was happy with, but I'm wondering if there are other (affordable) options that I should be exploring, particularly options that help hold up the image a bit more.

The best... though not all that affordable is Synthetic Aperture's Color Finnesse.

YOu can work in 32 bit color space which is VERY cool.

Does a fantastic job. Problem is, you can only work see one frame as you are working. IOW - It won't play the video as you correct.

Thanks, Cpt. I'll check out the demo. We have a budget of $500 for color correction, so maybe this isn't out of the question.
