Just a question: Does anyone know the compairson sizes between the DVX and HVX CCD's? I know the HVX is 960x540... the DVX is 4,100 pixels??? not too sure.

HVX= 518,400
DVX= 441,000

Is that correct?

Hmm... Assuming a 4:3 ratio, that would mean the chip in the DVX is roughly 75 pixels by 55 pixels. Sure, amazing things can be done with pixel shift, but this one would be, oh, just a tad too hard to believe... How did you arrive at the 4100 figure?

Yeah, that pixel shift eh....

Sorry, made a mistake, its 441,000... there was suppose to be an extra digit in there.

Is that pixel count correct tho? (the new one)?

Im doing some comparison shot tests this week, just want to make sure i know what type of CCD's im dealing with.
